Cohesity announced that Amy Cappellanti-Wolf has joined the company to serve as chief human resources officer (CHRO). In this role, Cappellanti-Wolf is responsible for spearheading workforce strategies, including global talent acquisition and development, employee experience, total rewards and well-being, and the real estate/workplace environment. She’s also responsible for aligning Cohesity’s strong culture with its business strategy – critical as the company continues to rapidly expand as more customers and partners turn to Cohesity to radically simplify data management.

Cappellanti-Wolf brings to Cohesity vast HR experience across leading tech, entertainment, and consumer product companies. Before joining the company, she served as senior vice president, CHRO, corporate real estate, and global diversity and inclusion lead at security company Symantec Corp. Prior to that, Cappellanti-Wolf was CHRO at Silver Spring Networks Inc. She also held HR leadership roles at Cisco Systems Inc., Sun Microsystems, The Walt Disney Company, and PepsiCo.

She is a member of the Betterworks HR Advisory Council, the Hitch Advisory Council, and she was the 2018 recipient of the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology award.
