Meet the Speakers

Martha Dyer

Branding and Design Manager, Gwinnett County Public Schools

Martha has more than 30 years of experience in digital design and production, both in the private and education sectors. She currently serves as the Branding and Design Manager in the Department of Communications and Media Relations at Gwinnett County Public Schools. Martha believes that it’s critical to stay current with evolving technology, while centering the principles of branding, design, and audience-focused messaging.

Kate Hope

Assistant Director of Communications, Magnolia ISD

Kate Hope holds a degree in journalism with a focus on public relations. With over 11 years of experience in public school communications, she currently serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Magnolia ISD. In her role, Kate oversees the district’s website, develops creative materials, manages social media accounts, creates videos, and supports all communications efforts within the district.

David Leshaw

Director of Growth Marketing, SchoolStatus

David began his career working as an Admissions Director at a high school in New York City, later becoming a Director of Growth Marketing at Smore and SchoolStatus, where he is responsible for coordinating the multi-channel marketing efforts for the beloved Smore brand.
